Lea has always had a passion for performing and knew she wanted to have a career in the arts. Lea started singing and dancing in school plays and took dance lessons at a young age. Whether it was dancing in a talent show or singing in her high school musicals, she felt alive in front of an audience. Lea attended Westlake High School in Thornwood, New York where her love for theater blossomed. She continued her studies at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy which is a conservatory located in Manhattan. At school she studied with Lindsay Chambers, Ray Virta, Jeffery Dunn, and Evan Pappas. Lea also furthered her dance training in the city at Broadway Dance Center and New Dance Group with teachers like Mark Santoro and Lainie Munro.
